General Terms and Conditions
effective from 2 June 2023
1. Preamble
1.1. The present General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “GTC”) apply to the Balaton-parti Fenntartó és Hasznosító Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (registered office: 8600 Siófok, Petőfi sétány 3.; tax number: 10714254-2-14; company registration number: 14-09-300003), as the service provider (hereinafter referred to as “Service Provider”) of the balaton-parti.hu domain (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”) by a customer using the services of the Website and by a customer who is a consumer as defined in Section 5.4 (hereinafter referred to as the “Customer”). These GTC apply to all services and products sold by the Service Provider on the basis of the information available on the Website.
1.2. The contract concluded between the Customer and the Service Provider via the Website is not considered to be in writing, it is not filed by the Service Provider and therefore it is not accessible and cannot be consulted afterwards. The Service Provider operating the Website is not subject to the provisions of any code of conduct. Contracts may only be concluded in Hungarian. The contract is concluded between the Service Provider and the Customer. By using the Website, the Customer accepts and acknowledges the provisions of these GTC and acknowledges and accepts the following:

3. Activity on the Website
3.1. The purpose of the Website is to facilitate the conclusion of beach ticket sales contracts for the Service Provider, whereby the Service Provider undertakes to provide the beach tickets and season tickets (hereinafter referred to as the “Product”) ordered by the Customer through the online ticket sales system on the Website, after the Customer’s registration or without registration, and detailed in Section 4.2 of these GTC, to the Customer, and the Customer undertakes to pay the price of the Product (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Service”).
4. Products available for purchase
4.1. The Products offered by the Service Provider can be ordered in person or online. On the Website, the Service Provider will provide details of the type of Product (ticket/pass/value-added ticket) and the price/price group by season or period (weekday/weekend).
4.2. The Products that the Customer may choose are:
– day tickets, season passes and value-added ticket valid for the Siófok Nagystrand
– day tickets, season passes and value-added ticket valid for the Sóstó Beach
4.3. The Customer has the possibility to purchase Products in his/her own name or in favour of another natural person (hereinafter referred to as the “Beneficiary”) by entering the Beneficiary’s name in the online ticketing interface.
4.4. The Service Provider offers a discount on the price of the Product to residents, pensioners and students of Siofok, who are required to show their discount entitlement document (ID card, address card) to the staff when validating the Product (ticket/pass). In order to benefit from the discounts in the future, residents of Siófok will have to register on the website where they can apply for a numbered beach card (hereinafter referred to as “Beach Card”) with their name and entitlement to the discount.
4.5. The Product (ticket/pass) purchased through the online ticketing platform on Tomorrow can be validated and accessed at the separate entrance provided by the Service Provider. The Product can be validated by the Customer/User by presenting the QR code received by email after the purchase and by being scanned by the staff, and then, as in the case of ticket sales at the cash desk, the ticketing staff will issue a wristband to the Customer/User. The wristband can be used to enter the beach area several times a day.
5. Establishment of the contract, the purchase process
5.1. In order to use the Service Provider’s system, the Customer has the possibility to purchase with registration (e-mail + password) or without registration.
5.2. The Customer can find out about the current prices of the Products and the discount conditions on the Website.
5.3. The Customer can purchase the selected Product through the online ticketing interface of the Website by adding the selected ticket to the shopping cart and then entering his/her billing details after clicking on the shopping cart. The Website will then redirect you to OTP SimplePay to pay the purchase price of the Product.
5.4. The contract between the parties for the purchase of the Product is concluded by confirming the purchase intention through payment on the website of our online payment partner OTP SimplePay, the details of which can be found in the My Orders section and in the confirmation emails sent by our payment and billing partners.
5.5. The purchased Product will be delivered by the Service Provider to the Customer immediately after the purchase, but no later than 10 minutes after the purchase, to the e-mail address provided during the purchase, together with the invoice confirming the payment and the Product information.
6. Prices, payment methods
6.1. On the website, the prices shown in the price list are in Hungarian forints and include the VAT fixed by law. The price is the price valid at the time of ordering.
6.2. Payment for the ordered Product(s) can be made by the Customer – according to the Customer’s choice – by credit card via the OTP Simple system or by OTP Szép card.
7. Contact
The Customer may contact the Service Provider with any questions or complaints regarding the Product(s), the operation of the Website, delivery by filling in the contact form on the home page of the Website or by e-mail at info@balaton-parti.hu.
8. Enforcement options
8.1. Complaint handling
– The Customer may submit any consumer complaints regarding the Product or the Service Provider’s activities to the customer service contact details indicated in Section 1.
– The Service Provider shall forward the submitted complaint, which relates to the delivery of the Product or other liability issues of the Supplier, to the Supplier without delay.
– The Supplier shall promptly remedy any complaint submitted in relation to the Service. If the Supplier is unable to remedy the complaint immediately due to the nature of the complaint or if the Customer does not agree with the handling of the complaint, the Supplier shall keep a record of the complaint for five years, together with its substantive response to the complaint.
– In all other cases, the Service Provider shall act in accordance with the rules applicable to written complaints.
– The Service Provider shall reply to the complaint received in writing within 30 days. For the purposes of this contract, action means posting.
– If the complaint is rejected, the Service Provider shall inform the Customer of the reasons for the rejection.
8.2. Other means of redress
– In the event that any dispute between the Service Provider and the Customer is not resolved in negotiations with the Service Provider, the Customer may initiate legal proceedings and, in the event of a consumer dispute, the following enforcement options are available to the Customer:

For the purposes of the rules applicable to the conciliation body, a consumer is also a civil organisation, church, condominium, housing association, micro, small and medium-sized enterprise, as defined in a separate law, who buys, orders, receives, uses, makes use of goods or is the recipient of commercial communications or offers relating to goods.
9. Data protection
The Service Provider’s Privacy Policy is available at https://www.balaton-parti.hu/adatvedelmi-nyilatkozat/.
10. Unilateral amendment of the General Terms and Conditions
10.1. The Service Provider shall be entitled to unilaterally amend these General Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice to the Customers. The amended provisions shall apply to orders placed after their entry into force.
10.2. The Service Provider reserves the right to make any changes or corrections to the Website at any time without prior notice and to transfer the Website to a different domain.
10.3. The effective date of these Terms and Conditions is 2 June 2023.

11. Copyright
11.1. The domain balaton-parti.hu is protected by copyright and may only be used with the written consent of the Service Provider, with the exception of the reference.
11.2. The Website constitutes a copyright work and it is prohibited to download (reproduce), retransmit to the public, use in any other way, store electronically, process and sell the contents of the Website or any part thereof without the written consent of the Service Provider. Even with written consent, any material from the Website and its database may only be reproduced by reference to the relevant website.
11.3. The Service Provider reserves all rights to all elements of its service, its domain name, the secondary domain names formed with it and its Internet advertising space.
11.4. Without the prior written consent of the Service Provider, it is prohibited to adapt or reverse engineer the content of the Website or parts thereof, to create customer IDs and passwords in an unfair manner, to use any application that allows the Website or any part thereof to be modified or indexed.
